Is Donesafe only contractor management?
No. Its platform page describes one platform and one source of truth for safety, quality, risk, and more, and its contractor management page describes a modular platform whose modules are inter-connected and interoperable, among them permit to work, job management, inductions, visitors, certifications, vendors and suppliers, plant, incidents, and checklists. How does Donesafe’s contractor module work?
Its contractor management page says contractors and visitors self-register and enter essential trading information while the module automates the contract approval process, the management of inductions, and linkage to site entry. Site managers are notified by dashboard or email that contractors are cleared to enter the site, and its reports show job status, certification and licence validity, and impending expiry by company. ComplyFlow’s AI reads a submission, the contractor’s SWMS included, against your criteria before your own people approve.
Does Donesafe generate a SWMS?
Its SWMS and JSA module says you create and store tasks, potential hazards, risks, and controls in one central repository, and that a tailored SWMS is generated from them within seconds. ComplyFlow does not write a SWMS or supply a template: the contractor writes or supplies their method statement, and the AI reads it against your criteria, shows its reasons, and your people approve.
Who owns Donesafe?
Donesafe is part of HSI. HSI’s own release of 3 December 2025 says HSI is majority-owned by Waud Capital Partners, and Donesafe’s About page lists offices in Sydney and Perth. Read 2 October 2026.
Does Donesafe use AI?
Its blog describes HSI Sky, an assistant that answers questions and summarises records across HSI’s platform (2 February 2026), HSI’s AI-powered image hazard recognition (3 December 2025), AI-powered voice reporting with Workable (18 August 2026), and a partnership with Invigilo for AI-powered risk detection (26 August 2026). Ask which of them read a contractor’s submission, and who decides. ComplyFlow puts an AI agent on the form questions you choose, a SWMS included, which reads answers and files against your criteria and shows its reasons; your people approve.
What happens to our data if we leave Donesafe?
The Master Services & License Agreement on its site, last updated 29 January 2026, says that on a request made within 30 days after termination or expiry, HSI will make Customer Data available for export or download. Check your own order form, which may differ.
How does ComplyFlow connect a supplier, a Worker, and a work order?
Your maintenance or work-order system reads the supplier’s compliance through the API before it releases a job: cleared, and the Worker signs in to the order; not cleared, and your system holds it with the reason on the supplier’s record. The status is the same wherever it is read, and a Worker who is not cleared for the location will not be able to sign in until it is resolved, unless the site is set to allow Sign in Anyway, which notifies the client. The Inspection app records the work, and the open API reads and writes work orders and inspections.
Can we run both?
You can. One shape is Donesafe carrying the wider configurable suite, with ComplyFlow carrying contractor approval, the Worker’s status, site access, and permits. It is still two records for one contractor, which is the cost you are accepting. ComplyFlow’s REST API and MCP access exist partly so that cost is smaller. Whatever you run, ask what happens between the systems: whether a work order can see the supplier’s status, and whether the gate checks it again when the Worker arrives.
