ComplyFlow vs Rapid Global

ComplyFlow vs Rapid Global: What Each One Does Best.

Rapid Global, based in Adelaide, and ComplyFlow, Sydney-based since 2009, cover much of the same ground. Rapid goes further at the gate and with camera AI. Here is where each one is stronger, read off both sites.

Checked against both vendors’ own pages, 29 September 2026

The Short Answer.

Rapid Global bundles seven products under one login and one invoice, goes further into gate hardware and camera AI, and uses AI to check documents, SWMS included since September 2026. ComplyFlow runs prequalification, Workers, site access, permits, incidents, plant, and inspections on one record, with AI you set up to read an answer or file against criteria you write, and a person who approves.

  • Both run contractors, inductions, site access, permits, incidents, and audits. Rapid One bundles all seven of its products. Both keep Australian customers’ data on AWS in Australia, by Rapid’s privacy policy and ours.
  • Rapid Global is ahead at the gate. Its access product identifies people by IP camera at a turnstile and vehicles by number plate, and connects to access control systems including Gallagher, ICT Protege, Inner Range, and SiPass by Siemens. ComplyFlow supplies no turnstiles, gates, or cameras, but connects to access control systems too: 3 natively and 10 more through its open API.
  • Both use AI on documents. They differ on who decides. Rapid’s RapidCheck can approve or reject a document by rules you set, and its SWMS check leaves the decision to your team today. ComplyFlow’s AI never approves: it reads against your criteria, shows its reasons, and a person decides.

Checked against rapidglobal.com on 29 September 2026, every product, integration, and industry page in its sitemap and its 2026 product posts included, and against complyflow.com, with ComplyFlow’s site access and integrations pages and Help Centre re-read on 1 October 2026. A cross means none of the 100 Rapid Global pages we read describes it, which is not the same as saying it does not exist. Partly means: AI on uploaded documents and on incident reports, not on questions in your own forms. On prices, a cross means no price is published; ComplyFlow lists its per-Worker and per-company prices and quotes Enterprise. Confirm with Rapid Global before you decide.

Where Each One Wins

The Honest Version, Both Ways.

Choose Rapid Global When the Gate Is the Point.

If you want an unqualified person physically stopped at a turnstile or boom gate, Rapid Global is built for that, with camera and number plate identification. ComplyFlow checks the record at the scan but supplies no turnstile or camera.

  • Turnstiles, boom gates, and links to access control systems such as Gallagher and SiPass
  • IP camera and number plate identification
  • AI cameras that flag hazards such as missing hi-vis
Workers passing through a pedestrian turnstile at a distribution centre gatehouse at shift change, while the gatehouse officer talks with a truck driver beside a lowered boom gate

Choose ComplyFlow When the Worker Is Alone.

A lone ComplyFlow Worker sets an expected time on site, and the supervisor is alerted on an overrun. Rapid Global’s answer is its cameras, such as its Safety Agent alarm (January 2024); the pages we read describe no Worker-carried app with an Emergency button.

  • Expected time on site, with an overrun alert
  • An Emergency button on the Worker’s own phone, on request
  • A live map and list, and one SMS to everyone on site

And When the AI Should Never Decide.

ComplyFlow’s AI agent reads the form questions you choose, a SWMS included, against criteria you write, and shows its reasons; a person approves. If you would rather documents were approved automatically by rule, RapidCheck offers that.

  • An AI agent per question, with your criteria
  • Reasons shown; your people approve
  • ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot through MCP, read-only if you want it to be

And When the Question Is Price.

Rapid Global publishes no platform price list; its Rapid One page says pricing is user-based. ComplyFlow publishes its prices and quotes its Enterprise plans.

  • AU$35 a year* per Worker, valid with every Client
  • AU$100 a year per company for an AI-reviewed prequalification, where a Client asks for one
  • Enterprise plans quoted against your own numbers

Questions

Questions People Ask About Rapid Global and ComplyFlow.

Does Rapid Global use AI?

Yes. Its homepage names six AI features: RapidCheck document verification, Smart Courses course generation, Checkpoints access control, AI-enabled cameras, AI-enabled incident reports, and the Rapid Chat knowledge assistant. RapidCheck reads insurance and licence documents and applies rules you define to approve, reject, or refer them for review. ComplyFlow’s AI reads a submitted answer or file, such as a SWMS, against your criteria and shows its reasons to the person who approves.

What is RapidCheck SWMS Verification?

Rapid Global’s AI check of Safe Work Method Statements, announced in an article dated 22 September 2026 and called RapidCheck SWMS Review on its product page. It reads an uploaded SWMS against a checklist of mandatory and recommended items, which you can customise with detection hints, and shows what it found. For now the result goes to your team to decide; automatic approval and rejection are listed as coming soon. ComplyFlow’s AI reviews a SWMS against the criteria you set, on the permit or the prequalification form, and never writes one.

How much does Rapid Global cost?

Rapid Global publishes no platform price list. Its Rapid One page says pricing is user-based, depending on how many people you train, induct, and give site access in a month, on one invoice. A ComplyFlow Worker licence is AU$35 a year* per Worker, valid with every Client, and an AI-reviewed prequalification is AU$100 a year per company where a Client asks for one. ComplyFlow’s Enterprise plans are quoted.

Does Rapid Global manage plant and equipment?

Yes. Its Transport, Plant & Equipment add-on, launched in 2022 and updated in November 2025, holds the required documents and fields for vehicles, trailers, vessels, plant, and equipment, set per asset type. In ComplyFlow each item of plant has its own record, documents with expiry dates, a category setting what it must hold, and its own inspection history.

Is Rapid Global hosted in Australia?

For Australian customers, yes. Its privacy policy says their data is stored in the AWS Asia Pacific (Sydney) region, and its RapidCheck page says AI processing for Australian customers stays in Australia. Rapid Global announced ISO 27001 certification in May 2022. ComplyFlow is hosted on AWS in Australia, ISO 27001 certified since 2019, and AWS Qualified Software since 2023.

Does ComplyFlow connect to site access hardware?

To access control systems, yes; to gates and cameras, it brings none of its own. Cards are tied to RFID, sites sign in by QR code, kiosk, or the Live Access app, and ComplyFlow’s integrations list shows 3 native connectors for access control and key management (KeyWatcher Australia, Unicard, and Torus) and 10 more access systems that connect through the open API, including Gallagher, Genetec, ICT Protege, Inner Range Integriti, and SiPass. Rapid Global goes further at the gate itself, with camera and number plate identification. Ask either vendor to show your exact controller working.

How does ComplyFlow connect a supplier, a Worker, and a work order?

Your maintenance or work-order system reads the supplier’s compliance through the API before it releases a job: cleared, and the Worker signs in to the order; not cleared, and your system holds it with the reason on the supplier’s record. The status is the same wherever it is read, and a Worker who is not cleared for the location will not be able to sign in until it is resolved, unless the site is set to allow Sign in Anyway, which notifies the client. The Inspection app records the work, and the open API reads and writes work orders and inspections. Read 1 October 2026.

Can we run both?

You can. One shape is Rapid Global at the gates that need turnstiles or number plate recognition, with ComplyFlow carrying prequalification, permits, incidents, plant, and inspections. It is still two records for one contractor; ComplyFlow’s REST API and MCP access exist partly to make that cost smaller. Whatever you run, ask what happens between the systems: how a company’s approval reaches the work order and the gate, and whether the gate checks it again when the Worker arrives.
