What is a MyPass Skills Passport?
A profile the worker owns and carries between employers and sites. According to its Skills Passport page, a worker holds qualifications, licences, training records, work history, and medical documents, grants an employer access for a set period, and can revoke it. There is a mobile app on iOS and Android for workers in Australia and New Zealand, and a supervisor can verify a worker by scanning a QR code on a phone with an internet connection. How does MyPass check a worker’s documents?
Its passport page says MyPass verifies documents through direct feeds from issuing authorities where available, certificate libraries with unique code matching, fraud prevention algorithms, and specialist verification team review. Its contractor management page adds duplicate detection to help prevent more than one profile for the same worker. ComplyFlow checks documents against the criteria you set and routes each to an approver by risk level; ask each vendor to check your own document types and show who decided.
Does MyPass assess the contractor company as well as the worker?
It describes company-level tools. Its terms of use describe an Organisation Passport where a business holds its business information and compliance documents, its December 2025 product update lets operators upload approved supplier documents into a project, and its contractor management page describes defining requirements once through competency matrices and evaluating proposed workforces. ComplyFlow’s company assessment is your own form and criteria, with each section going to its own reviewer.
Does MyPass feed our access and work-order systems?
It says so. Its integrations page describes an API-first design with native, REST, and middleware routes, says real-time compliance status flows to site access systems, and says access is automatically revoked when qualifications expire. Its utilities page says MyPass feeds verified compliance status into access gate and work-order systems, and its September 2025 release post describes an endpoint returning the compliance data of each position assigned to a worker. Ask to see it working on your own work-order system with a lapsed licence.
What does MyPass Insights do?
Its Data and Insights page describes a live view of compliance, risk, fill rate, and mobilisation readiness, and says you can select any past date and see the workforce and compliance status as it stood. MyPass announced Insights on 28 July 2026, according to its integrations page. ComplyFlow keeps every document in the account’s history, filtered and exported to CSV; ask for the same question answered live on your own data.
Who is MyPass for?
Its site navigation lists three business types, hiring clients, service providers, and industry bodies, and four industries: energy, mining and resources, manufacturing, and utilities. Its Industry Portal page says it is purpose-built for asset owners and service providers managing contractor supply chains, and names industry associations, training consortiums, and standards organisations as users. Its service provider page says MyPass gives service providers verified workers matched to any client’s requirements.
Is MyPass certified, and is ComplyFlow?
MyPass’s home page states ISO 27001 certification, and its about page gives two timings for it, so ask for the certificate and its date. ComplyFlow has been ISO 27001 certified, is AWS Qualified Software since 2023, runs on AWS in Australia, and is not SOC 2.
Our workers already hold a MyPass passport. Can we still use ComplyFlow?
You can. A passport that already exists is a real advantage, and MyPass says a worker moving between contractors is not verified again from scratch. The question is which record your approvers and your gate work from. ComplyFlow keeps one Worker profile across Clients, and a document approved for one Client can count for the next. Ask both vendors what your approver still checks for the company and the job, and run the same real contractor through both. Two records for one contractor is the cost you are accepting if you run both.
How does ComplyFlow connect a supplier, a Worker, and a work order?
Your maintenance or work-order system reads the supplier’s compliance through the API before it releases a job: cleared, and the Worker signs in to the order; not cleared, and your system holds it with the reason on the supplier’s record. The status is the same wherever it is read, and a Worker who is not cleared for the location will not be able to sign in until it is resolved, unless the site is set to allow Sign in Anyway, which notifies the client. The Inspection app records the work, and the open API reads and writes work orders and inspections.
