What is contractor management software?

Software for the business that engages contractors. It checks each company against your requirements before it is engaged, checks every Worker it sends for the work they will do, and keeps that record current while the work runs: insurances, licences, sign-in, permits, inspections, and incidents. ComplyFlow holds all of it on one record for every contractor, Worker, and site.

Is this the same as job management software?

No. Job management software runs a contractor’s own quotes, jobs, and invoices. Contractor management software is for the business that engages contractors and has to show they were checked: the property owner, the facilities manager, the transport operator, the principal contractor. If you are the contractor, the contractor page is for you.

How is ComplyFlow different from a prequalification network?

A network checks companies against its own standard and stops there. ComplyFlow checks against your standard, then carries the result through to each Worker, each site, and each permit. A company being approved and a Worker being cleared are two different things, and ComplyFlow does both. How the options compare is in our guide.

Will our contractors actually use it?

They register once by ABN, add their Workers, and keep one profile for every Client on ComplyFlow, with a reminder before anything expires. A Worker licence is AU$35 a year* per Worker, valid with every Client on ComplyFlow. The standard company prequalification is AU$100 a year, where a Client asks for one.

Do we keep our FM, ERP, and HR systems?

Yes. They stay your systems of record, and ComplyFlow holds the compliance side. Maintenance work orders link to the supplier by ABN and site code, finance and HR systems connect through the REST API, your people sign in through Microsoft or Okta, and AI assistants read the record through MCP.

What happens when a licence or insurance expires after approval?

The contractor is reminded before it lapses. On the day it does, the status on the record changes, and the Worker is flagged at the next sign-in scan. Where a site is set up that way, a Worker who is not cleared is stopped rather than only flagged.

Where is our data held?

Data is hosted on AWS in Australia. ComplyFlow has been ISO 27001 certified since 2019 and AWS Qualified Software since 2023. Access is set by role, and every change is logged, so you can show who did what and when.
