Is Breadcrumb only a sign-in tool?
No. Its Australian product menu lists attendance, inductions, pre-starts and toolbox talks, site alerts, evacuations, access controls, insurances, permits, SWMS, safety data sheets, plant inductions, Breadcrumb AI, Site IQ, and Procore and Autodesk integrations. It began as a contact-tracing tool, now its attendance feature, according to its about page. Read 5 October 2026.
Does Breadcrumb use AI?
Yes. Its SWMS page describes Smart Docs Review flagging missing details and gaps for your team’s final review, and its inductions page describes Smart Induct scanning submissions and suggesting approval or rejection. Its Enterprise SaaS Agreement says the AI features use third-party providers such as AzureAI or OpenAI, and that an administrator may deactivate them in Account settings. Its SWMS page also says you can build your own review checklists and tailor the AI review with your own project-specific prompts. ComplyFlow’s AI reads the answers and files you choose, a SWMS included, and shows its reasons, and the contractor can run the same review before submitting; your people approve. It reviews a SWMS and never writes one.
Who owns SignOnSite, and is it part of Breadcrumb?
Breadcrumb describes SignOnSite as acquired. An article on SignOnSite’s site dated 7 May 2025 says 1Breadcrumb announced its acquisition, and Breadcrumb’s news page of 28 October 2025 says the acquisition was announced. Its rebrand article of 3 December 2025 drops the 1 from its name and calls SignOnSite its Australian competitor it joined forces with, and its Enterprise SaaS Agreement names both products as its platform. On 5 October 2026 signonsite.com is a separate site with its own demo and sign-in links. No page read says whether the two are one platform in practice, so ask Breadcrumb which product your agreement covers and how its roadmap treats both.
Does Breadcrumb connect to Procore?
Yes. Its Procore page describes a two-way integration that files records into Procore Documents and attendance into the Site Diary, with the Procore Directory syncing too, built into its subscription. It also lists an Autodesk Forma Build integration, dated 1 September 2026 and live for US contractors, and Site IQ, a standalone service run through Acuite. Other project systems can be connected through ComplyFlow’s open API; ask us about your project system before you assume a connector exists.
Where does Breadcrumb keep its data, and is it certified?
Its privacy policy says it stores personal information in Australia and overseas, including Great Britain, Ireland, and Germany, and names Amazon Web Servers and Microsoft Azure among its service providers; its Site IQ page says that service is hosted on Microsoft Azure servers in Australia. Breadcrumb announced ISO 27001:2022 certification on 19 March 2026. ComplyFlow runs on AWS in Australia and has been ISO 27001 certified; it is not SOC 2. Ask each vendor where the data for your agreement is held.
What happens to our data if we leave Breadcrumb?
Breadcrumb’s standard Enterprise SaaS Agreement says your data is and will remain your property. It runs for 12 months or another agreed period and renews for 12-month periods unless either party gives written notice at least 30 Business Days before the end. Breadcrumb may vary the agreement on 30 days’ written notice, and you may object to a variation of the kinds the agreement lists by written notice of termination within that period. Check your own contract document.
How does ComplyFlow connect a supplier, a Worker, and a work order?
Your maintenance or work-order system reads the supplier’s compliance through the API before it releases a job: cleared, and the Worker signs in to the order; not cleared, and your system holds it with the reason on the supplier’s record. The status is the same wherever it is read, and a Worker who is not cleared for the location will not be able to sign in until it is resolved, unless the site is set to allow Sign in Anyway, which notifies the client. The Inspection app records the work, and the open API reads and writes work orders and inspections.
Can we run both?
You can. One shape is Breadcrumb at the gates that need turnstiles and the Procore link, with ComplyFlow carrying supplier prequalification, Worker requirements, and the status your work-order system reads. It is still two records for one contractor, which is the cost you are accepting. Whatever you run, ask what happens between the systems: how a supplier’s status reaches an individual Worker’s entry, and what the turnstile does when a licence lapses after the Worker was assigned.
